Chicago Poker Classic Controversy

The 3rd Annual Chicago Poker Classic had $50,000 at stake in the controversy that erupted on Monday, March 5th, and then went BOOM on TwoPlusTwo.

The poker tournament series ran from February 23rd through March 5th, with a full menu of events. Included in the series was an 'overall point’s leader' $50,000 bonus. According to a report by Shane Sigisbee his friend Paul Gibbons held the most points but due to a supposed unwritten change in the qualifying structure, another player took home the $50,000.
