Einhorn to Play One Drop

There is a possibility we will see the Big One for One Drop confirmed player's list before the tournament starts. Maybe not...

In the meantime has announced that Greenlight Capital Inc. co-founder David Einhorn is going to play in the Big One for One Drop $1,000,000 charity tournament at the World Series of Poker next month.

In 2006 Einhorn finished 18th in the WSOP Main Event and donated his winnings of over $650,000 to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

So it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that Einhorn is said to be donating any profits he might win from the Big One for One Drop event to City Year charity. The sum for the winner is at least $16.4 million which already flattens the massive sum that Jamie Gold won in the main event in 2006. Gold took home $12 million and then had to settle his debt with Crispin Leyser.
